3. Energy from the effect of thoughts

Thoughts can be said to shape intentions and emotions, which, in turn, are what drive human actions. Having mentioned the impact of thoughts on our physical behavior through the ideomotor effect, we now need to delve into the composition of thoughts and their influence on ourselves and our surroundings.

Everything in the universe vibrates and possesses unique frequencies. Similarly, humans vibrate at various frequencies, and the type of thought determines the strength or weakness of these vibrations. The more positive our thoughts, the stronger the vibrations at higher frequencies. Conversely, more negative thoughts lead to vibrations at lower frequencies. Regardless of the level at which we vibrate, the effect of these thoughts radiates outward, influencing both our internal microcosm and the external macrocosm.

To better understand frequencies, let us consider mobile phones. These devices operate through electromagnetic waves, a spectrum of frequencies enabling communication across vast distances. Such waves are invisible; human eyes can only perceive light within the electromagnetic spectrum, approximately from 400 to 790 terahertz (THz). This range, known as the visible spectrum, includes all colors we can see—from violet (with shorter wavelengths and higher frequencies) to red (with longer wavelengths and lower frequencies). When we make a call or send a message, a chain of events occurs that converts our voice or text into digital signals. These signals are transmitted at a specific frequency through the air until they reach the receiver, where they are reconverted into voice or text. This process is not merely about transformation but about the interplay of frequencies that makes the entire process so remarkable.

When these internal components—thoughts, intentions, and emotions—are in harmony, they generate a powerful energy that intensifies our attraction to what we desire. It is as though the universe operates by the same principles as the science of waves. When our frequencies are aligned with our desires, the universe responds, all within the framework of divine will.

If we dive deeper, what do frequencies in our thoughts symbolize? They represent an invisible connection, a thread that, while unseen, is certainly felt and experienced. Just as our phones transmit and receive invisible waves, our thoughts and intentions also emit their own frequencies to the universe.

No problem can be solved from the same level of consciousness that created it.

Consider these lines as representing levels of vibration. Each vibration has a specific frequency. We function and think at different frequencies, and a particular mindset is required to activate the frequencies arising from the higher version of ourselves. To do this, we need to attune ourselves to the correct frequency. Suppose I want to transition from a low frequency, labeled as 1, to a higher frequency, labeled as 2. How do I accomplish this? Many people think, “I’ll do it… as SOON as I have money,” or, “I’ll do it… WHEN the series ends.” However, with this mindset, nothing gets done, as our thoughts and minds remain trapped in a lower frequency. Humans cannot reach higher levels with thoughts rooted in a lower frequency. As Einstein suggested, we cannot solve a problem created by lower vibrations with the same level of consciousness (or vibrations) that caused it. The resolution of an issue or condition is a product of higher vibrations and a heightened level of consciousness.

In the field of physics, this concept is illustrated through experiments involving tuning forks. These show that a tuning fork set to a specific frequency will begin to vibrate when another fork of the same frequency is struck.

In another experiment with tuning forks of differing frequencies, we observe that they do not influence each other. And when the frequencies are the same, vibrating one will vibrate the other fork and even the balls will move in response to resonance. This demonstrates how successful resonance can affect the surroundings.

Thus, our thoughts and minds must focus on the same frequency as that of what we desire. If we want something or wish to experience change, we must make a decision—a committed decision. We must say, “I will do it now.” In the very moment that we make this firm decision, everything begins to change. We start to think and act as the person we wish to become, as we begin operating on a higher plane of consciousness. We cease thinking on the lower level and commence thinking at a higher frequency.

Science has shown that thoughts resemble electromagnetic frequencies. Dr. Karen L. Fielding, in her pioneering research, has demonstrated that focused intent can resonate at specific frequencies, much like tuning a radio receiver to a particular station. Just as tuning to the correct radio channel is essential for clear reception, aligning our thoughts with positive intent is equally critical in manifesting our desires. Picture this: every thought, every intention, every ambition is like dialing a number on a phone. When the number is correct, we connect to the universe. And when the connection is strong, the universe listens, understands, and responds. This system, created by God, is guided by His will.

The universe, therefore, is not merely a passive backdrop; it is an active participant, a vast network of connections with conscious life that responds to the frequencies we emit, particularly when focused and driven by intent.

The Almighty God has endowed humanity with the capacity to achieve far higher stages than the physical realms limited by time and space because our soul originates from an infinite source. Most of us live according to what we hear, see, smell, taste, and feel—senses also shared by animals, which implies that there must be a substantial difference between humans and animals. Because our thoughts arise from our subconscious mind, almost all our actions and reactions are habitual. These thoughts and habits form frequencies that unconsciously radiate through our behaviors and keep us in lower stages, akin to animals. These thoughts manifest in the universe and reflect back upon us in various forms of suffering.

Our goal, therefore, is to break free from the lower frequencies hidden within our subconscious and instead connect with our inner world. To reach this state, we need to engage higher faculties, such as reflection, perception, will, reason, remembrance of God, focus, intuition, and imagination.

Attempting to access our inner universe is powerful! Just as we can communicate globally through our phones, we also have the ability to connect and manifest on a cosmic level. If everyone understood and utilized this power, the frequency of our planet would be filled with positivity, growth, and shared intent. We would see a world where our collective ambitions and prayers harmoniously interact, creating an era of unlimited potential, rooted in the power of the soul and God’s attributes within us.

Energy

The idea that no thoughts can be hidden leads us to think about the concept of energy and its phenomenon. This brings us to Antoine Lavoisier, a prominent French chemist from the 18th century, who famously said: “Rien ne se perd, rien ne se crée, tout se transforme“—which can be translated into English as “Nothing is lost, nothing is created, everything is transformed.” This means that everything already exists in a vibrational or energetic state.

If we observe how water behaves, it first evaporates into vapor, which later forms clouds, which in turn transform into rain. The energy in rain is passed on to plants and animals, and we receive this energy through food, which enables us to take action. The cycle of energy exists even in deeper realms, as shown by the quantum world. Thus, the energy held by thoughts—spoken or unspoken—is never lost; it simply transforms into different forms of energy depending on the medium it travels through. God alludes to this in the following verse:

فَمَنْ يَعْمَلْ مِثْقَالَ ذَرَّةٍ خَيْرًا يَرَهُ

So whoever does an atom’s weight of good
will see it,” (The Holy Quran 99:7)

وَمَنْ يَعْمَلْ مِثْقَالَ ذَرَّةٍ شَرًّا يَرَهُ

And whoever does an atom’s weight of evil
will see it.” (The Holy Quran 99:8)

To conclude the topic of the effect of thoughts, intentions, and actions, we turn to what the Holy Prophet (peace be upon him) said:

مَن كانتِ الآخِرةُ همَّهُ جَمَعَ اللّه ُ شَمْلَهُ، و جَعَلَ غِناهُ بينَ عَينَيهِ، و أتَتْهُ الدُّنيا و هيَ راغِمةٌ
(کنز العمال 44160)

“The one who strives solely to do everything that benefits the next life, God will make this life easier for them, cause them to never feel dependent on anyone or anything in this life, and let worldly life chase after them, even though they themselves have little desire for it.” (Kanz al-‘amaal, hadith 44160)

Now that we have discussed thoughts as frequencies and energy, the next section will explore how waves are described by quantum physicists and their correlation with Islamic scriptures.
